"Grenoble area" Grenoble by ingridf_nl

We arrived to our accomodations. A friends parents summer home in Grenoble. Mme Lafayette kindly opened what we thought was a cottage. In fact, it was a home with a huge fire place, a full kitchen, and large comfortable beds.

We had driven from Nice (which proved to be a much longer drive than expected) ... so these beds were very welcome.

The next week we spent driving, hiking, climbing, exploring small towns, and generally relaxing. Swimming in every fresh water lake we could find, spending evenings drinking wine and relaxing from the day. It was a perfect vacation.
