Laiap is a small lagoon islet located in the Pohnpeian chiefdom of Kitti. The privately owned island functions as a free 'resort' site for tourists and local people alike. Largely undeveloped, with only a few rickity remnants of old huts, Laiap or "Rainbow Island" is a great place for a little R & R, also offering wonderful snorkeling and fishing opportunities on the surrounding tropical reef.
