Just got back from the Cannes Film Festival. It was a working vacation. So I was busy gophering part of the time, having 2-hour schmoozy dinners or getting away from the craziness and going sightseeing along the Cote D'Azur.
I'm still fine-tuning, but the pages are almost complete. G'wan, have a look - there's actual non-Cocteau related content here (somewhat). ;->
I find it amusing that France has such a sophisticated reputation among Americans, and yet they're just as goony for celebrities as anyone else in the world.
Entry point for celebrities at the Palais. Interesting that the French word for celebrities is like personalities, as if they are the only ones who have them. Presumptuous, isn't it? I can't tell you how many tourists took pictures underneath this sign.
- Pros:The most exciting time in Cannes
- Cons:Very crowded, obviously, and expensive
- In a nutshell:Everyone should go just once.

Re: Carlton Intercontinental's domes. This makes me hope that one day there will be a use for all of the useless information stored in my mind.
Beautiful page: good info and photos. I remember a film: Pau and your Brother in Cannes Festival
It's so WONDERFUL to have stumbled upon your pages! How I wish I could've attended the Festival this year to see Van Sant win the top award! Oooohh and I miss those parties! A Cocteau fanatic? I can see I will thoroughly enjoy your pages! ;-)
