Beijing is my latest sojourn. I have had the opportunity to go to Beijing on business in August 2003. I think that this is the most unique city that I have visited so far. It has so many things to offer - From ancient history to shopping to nightlife to all trappings of a modern bustling city. There looks to be so much to do in this city. Beijing at night is nice!!! The whole city is lit up in neon and downtown looks great Will keep updating this page. |

aussiedoug Fri Jul 9, 2004 13:31 UTC Many thanks for these gr8 tips as I hope to be spending a week here later this month or early next month. Cheers from downunder! | Guantanamera Tue Dec 30, 2003 20:34 UTC Ah, yes, China is phenomenal for great gastronomical experiences! And I see the "temporary" art exhibition is still going -- I met one of these "students" too, in 2002... Good show! | Mez77 Thu Sep 18, 2003 05:33 UTC It looks like Beijing was a good trip. Where are you off to next?? | Chinabizguy Wed Sep 17, 2003 20:16 UTC My similar experience: The art students wanted to 'practice English' and invited me to their school. To my surprise, I ended up ... in an art school, and (no surprise) they showed me their art. They were quite good, and I bought two for $5 or so each. |
