I'd been carrying a spare, charged battery for my Fujifilm EXR camera everywhere I went during our visit to Spain. On the day of our Avila-Segovia tour I forgot it, partly because the battery in my camera seemed fully charged.
After just three pictures in Segovia, the battery was dead. Neither camera shop we went to had the special battery that Fujifilm requires. So . . . this and two other photos of the aqueduct are all I have -- except for my memories.
If not so pleasing to the eye as the Pont du Gard near Nimes, Segovia's 2000-year-old aqueduct is still an amazing relic.
