Vico Equense is about half-way between Naples and Sorrento. Driving from Naples you take the A-3 (autostrade) to SS-145 (a state road). The town is quaint, with one outstanding and several good restaurants, many shops, and at least one internet cafe (Tito's, in the center of town on SS-145).
Vico is a good place to stay if you're interested in visiting Naples, Pompei, Ercolano (Herculanæum), Pæstum, and Sorrento or anywhere else on the peninsula. |
