Mission Beach is one of my definite favorites in Queensland. A strech of beautiful beach and surroundin tropical rainforests east of Tully and about 1.5 hours of driving from Cairns. Dunk Island resort is only a boat ride away. Mission Beach offers you tons of adventure sports when you get tired of just lying around and gives you the best chance of spotting the rare bird, cassowari. The locals are really nice and enjoy the relaxed lifestyle of Mission Beach. |
