HOTEL VICTOR HUGO - Miami
Beaches/South Beach/Art Deco District: HOTEL VICTOR HUGO Beaches/South Beach/Art Deco District Review

Another creation of Michael Capponi and jut like the previous ones the place rocks.

This place is located in the heart of SOBE just next to Versacce's house. There is restaurant and a bar area in the ground floor and the main club is in the first floor. The main movement happens in the first floor, but crownds keep flowing all around the place.

They are two outdoors terraces which are just FANTASTIC!.

Segafredo Sunday night - Miami

Segafredo Sunday night

LINCON STREET

This is in a way the essence of the beach. Along this street, restaurant, coffee shops, and boutiques alternate. The chick and most alternative will be found here.
At the top end, the teather, this was a regular Sunday night. Panini is one of my favorite restaurants, a few goodpubs to watch American Football, and our regular, Segafredo Cafe. The couches at this place are the best. I remember the days I was studying for my GMT, good times here.

A good and old tradition: MACARENA/ NIGHT CLUB

I lived in Miami for more than four years. In the begining this was one of "the place" to be. Night clubs life in Miami are short, places are constantly re inventing themselfes. Macarena re invented her self on my last year.

Still, the place kept sweet memories for some of us. It was one of the few sites to watch good Sevillanas, every friday night, with live music. And of course some of the best Paellas were served at this place.
For the Spaniards and myself, this was a regular.

After Hours: SPACE Down Town Review

In Miami Beach the regulations allow business to sell alcohol untill 400am. For many years, the best parties were always in the Beach. They where a few after hour places, but no alcohol... well, like if the majority of the crow who will atend after hours cared, do you follow me?
Like two years ago, a few new places started to emerged in the down town area, close to the Arena. The area is a little doggy, but business are allow to stay open till noon...
Space is so far one of the best and the only one that has survived. Great dance floors, excelent resident DJ's. They even have an open patio at the back, the Latin room, which is handy for when you need some air.

NIGHTS WITH THE SPANIARD Beaches/South Beach/Art Deco District Review

My beloved spaniards.... The story goes back so long that one day I will probably do a travelogue. Anyways, the night with start with a phone call:
FONCHI: Que pasa tia? What are the plans?
FI: Isabel has a table at Tantra, and there is a party at Mint... But I think we going to take it easy tonight.
FONCHI: Yes I know, me too. Why don't you come over and we will have some wine.

Well over we will go. His apartment on the Intracostal at 163rd Av. 30th floor... At the balcony, one side the sea, the other the city.... to the distance South Beach lights... Breath taking views...

We will finish the wine, then sushi delivery will follow. Ok, now what?
And off we went to South Beach.... till the morning.
That is the definition of easy for the Spaniards....

Dress Code: In Miami you must dress the part.
At friends house, no code... But for the Beach
dress to impress is the code.
