Mykonos is famous for it's posh crowd and wonderful nightlife, especially during the summer. If Santorini is the romantic of the islands, Mikonos is the wild and crazy.
I did enjoyed the style of most of the coffee shops, restaurants and bars. Modern, nice lighting, simple furniture.
But this island is also has it's history. If you have traveled to other islands you might notice some Italian influence. It took it's name from the son of King of Delos And from the Greek mithology Mikonos is connected to the myth of Hercules fighting with the giants.
This visit was short but sweet. |
