Wanted to come to Barcelona for a long time, but good friends kept pulling me to Madrid, and the trip was for ever delayed.
Barcelona is the capital of the Region of Catalonia, the city lies between the rivers of Llobregat and the Besos. Its the second largest city in Spain after Madrid.
I enjoyed being close to the mountains, and the sea as I used to back in Caracas. In fact, the arquitecture of the city resembles a lot of corners of Caracas. It's a city where pets are welcome, dogs are a must here.
It's a region that because of it's location close to the sea has been influence my cultures along the years. Barcelona has witness some of the greatess artist in different fields: Antonio Gaudi, Joan Miro, Salvador Dali, Pablo Picasso, Bigas Luna, Pedro Almodovar.
