  • Another view of Alcala. This landmark belongs to the Golden age. After conquering America Madrid expanded considerably financed by the gold coming from the new continent.
So, does this mean my ancestors payed for this beauty?

  • The place is huge with many gardens. Coming and walking under the shadows of the trees is wonderful, especially in those hot summer days.

  • One thing I love in Madrid is there is old people everywhere. In the cities I have lived before this was not noticeable. I think they are cute, and in a bar they will always start a conversation.

  • This little girl was running and playing with her father. For some reason-maybe she was tired- she didn't feel like being friendly. Ivan_j memorized her name, hopping to get a smile. But nothing worked, NO was the final answer.
