    • This is a must to visit for anyone coming to Madrid. In the first floor you will find a take-away area and a bar for fast style tapas, in the lower ground you can sit for a longer meal.
    Options are extensive, food is quite fresh and tasty.

    • This a very popular and well known Cafe in the centre of Madrid. Located next to the Opera House it offers wonderful views of the Palacio Real. Full restaurant service is available, but I will suggest to come for desert.

    My favourite is the cheese cake and the fruit tart.
    And no, I did not ate both, we shared. ;o)

    • Everything in moderation is good. I love Spanish cusine but after 2 weeks we needed a change.

    And nothing better than a good hamburger. So on New Years day, when everyone finally woke up we headed to Hard Rock. Food portions american style, the always familiar Beatles and 80' music background.

    I recomend coming early o else you expect a long wait. Some of the guysmanage to get a big table and so people kept poping in and out all night long.

    Highly recommended: Brownie. hmmmm...
