Not Actually Girona, but close by...

View of Puerta de la Selva
Note: These pages are only about the Monastery de Sant Pere, which is on a hillside between Girona and Puerto de la Selva in the Costa Brava region of Spain. I had previously created them under Puerto de la Selva.....if they look familiar that's why. I don't provide any Info on the town of Girona itself here.

This is an overview of Puerto de Selva from the monastery up on the hill. This is the only look we got at it, we would later bypass it on our way around that little peninsula to a town called Cadaques on the other side. I just wanted to add a couple pics of the area, specifically the Monestary de Sant Pere. Unfortunately I didn't get any digi pics of Cadaques, but it's a neat little town for sure, worth a stop.

Pros:"Just across the Pyrenees"
Cons:"Summer crowds?"
In A Nutshell:"Can only speak of the monastery"
