How to use a sunday afternoon | It is big man, really big! |
After a desatrues visit to Yokohama I decided to do Kobe on a total different way. This time I did not want to spend unneccesary time in a cab, I wanted to see something from the city, and I mean not only a bar or disco or whatever, no, I wanted just to mingle with the crowd. It was my luck that a priest from the flying angels came to our ship with a small book for tourists. |
| | Just a short walk On one of the pages there was a small photo of a buddha. I was interrested at wonce. I'm an atheist, but that doesn't mean that i don't believe in anything. Only no specific religion can satisfy me. After looking at the maps I found out it was quite a walk. But tat had never stopped me before, and it wouldn't stop me that day. So although it was raining I took of just after lunch. |
Wet, tired, but satisfied And indeed it was quite a walk, also because I did a "touristic walk", passing through Mitsumatsu (sorry will check grammar later...) And just going about on a global idea. It took me 3 1/2 hours. But it made me happy, just to be around, able to look around on my own, and marveling before this huge statue.
Kobe, a city where I would like to have a longer look | | | Great pics even with the rain |
