“You have to see Chisinau in spring to understand the poetry of this city” – this piece of advice was given to me by a Moldavian friend working in Bucharest.

Chisinau may not have impressive monuments or large cathedrals, but one thing there is delicious – food. While splurging in one of its numerous restaurants, I even speculated on a sort of a business case for Chisinau as a culinary destination. Not recommended for the Hindus though, as one of the most popular (and best) beers in Chisinau is called “Brahma” (fyi – no relation with the Brasilian beer with the same name).
