The taste is completely different from a gummi bear, yet somehow familiar.

  • Everyone who travelled to ABQ for my work ended up staying here at one point or another because we had such a good rate ($49/night).

It's clean and basic, with well above average breakfasts, and terrific staff.

And, since it's part of the Hilton chain, you get both points and miles.

Unique Qualities: For $3 a day, you can use the really excellent gym right behind the hotel.

There's a small pool and hot tub, located, unfortunately, in the parking lot.

  • I moved here because my boss started travelling to ABQ also, and he thought I should upgrade from the Hampton Inn.

This is NOT my favorite hotel. The hallways are dingy, and it takes forever to get something brought to your room--something that they forgot. There are rooms facing the Sandia Mtns, however, they also face the intersections of 1-25 and 1-40.

However, we get good rates, ($68 to $99/night) and I complain enough that I usually end up getting a complementary breakfast!

Unique Qualities: Nice courtyard in back with pool. Often they have some local band playing back there, so you can kick back with a drink. The bands help drown out the highway noise!
