Most of my week in Georgia was spent taking day trips from the capital, Tbilisi. It's a captivating city, and a good place to base yourself if you've only a week to spend in Georgia.

some overnights

the view, the view!

I entered the country through the border with Turkey, at Sapri, and spent a night in the Black Sea coastal town of Batumi. I also spent an overnight in the amazing mountain town of Kazbegi, although the place I stayed didn't end up having running water or heat. Still Kazbegi was amazing!
