The World's First National Park!!

The Falls
Yellowstone... wow, it has to be the best National Park in the US. I have been to most of them and it always amazes me. I always see something new....something overlooked in a previous visit.
Yellowstone River

Simply Amazing!!

If you like great scenery, waterfalls, geysers, wildlife, backpacking, camping, fishing, hiking, and the great outdoors....then this place is for you!!

Make sure you bring a lot of film.. or storage for the Digital cams because you will need it. And, have a good pair of hiking shoes if you really want to explore the park. But, you can be an auto tourist and still see a lot.

Delaware combined

calderas, measuring 45 by 30
miles (72 by 48 km)
* One of the world's largest petrified
forests
* Approximately 290 waterfalls, 15
ft or higher, flowing year-round

 It is always fun to see what people think of "my" park! And, I learned something from you! I didn't know that there were 2,000 earthquakes annually! Of course when you are up there, you usually can't feel them---good pressure releases. 5 star tips.

 Such an important point about wildlife - I can never understand how so many people just don't get it! A nice tribute to this great park.
