  I love those noisy beasts! I came across a dead on on a beach once so got to see just how HUGE those boys can get! I waited until the rangers came w/ a boat as the tide was rising to take him back to sea ... so touching.

  Great photos of the sea lions. You really like those noisy guys. I live just outside of SF & will spend Thanksgiving with friends in the City by the Bay. I don't have the sea lions on my pgs. You have the best possible pics. of them.

  Yes, I was at pier 39 far back in 200I. The view is a spectacle. You also reminds me of the Alcartaz, Miur woods and the golden gate bridge. This page brought back lots of good memories. Nice pics.

  Oh, for seal lions, another must visit is the Marine Mammal Center, just across the Golden Gate Bridge, in Sausalito. It's a rescue and recouperation facility for sea lions, harbor seals, etc! See my Sausalito page for more info.

  Yes, the sea lions are a tourist trap, and I feel for it. Who cannot look at them for hours. Great pics of the sea lions
