Most of Toronto's young/old are very involved in Hockey games- espically when they involve the Toronto Maple Leafs.
During the playoffs, the Air Canada Center is packed with screaming fans, it's crazy but fun to watch.
There are only two other Canadain hockey teams in Canada- the Ottawa Senators and the Vancouver Canucks.

Equipment: If you want to watch a game at the ACC (Air Canada Center) or on t.v, bring something to eat/drink, a usual NHL (National Hockey League) games lasts 3 hours.

The Toronto Raptors are Toronto's basketball team.
This year was one of the worst we had 24 wins, 58 losees.
None the less, people in Toronto still love watching basketball and many go to the Air Canada Center to watch a game. Average attendence at a Raptors game is about 18,000 people and there are 82 games in an average season, if they dont make it to the playoffs.

Equipment: Popcorn and some kind of drink to keep you happy and hydrated when you're watching a game.

You really don't have a clue what you are talking about when it comes to hockey....what about Edmonton Oilers , Montreal Canadians, and the Calgary Flames (who are in the Stanley cup finals)?????

Not sure that hurricanes are an incredible danger in Toronto. Deep freezes are a little more common. Raccoons can carry rabies, and do incredible damage to property. They should be avoided.
