<P><B><FONT SIZE=6>H</FONT>undreds, thousands of delicately-carved spires rising in brilliant colors towards a blue sky, that's the amphitheater of Bryce Canyon National Park. It's the wonderful result of the power of millions of years of wind, water and geological phaenomena that have shaped those pink cliffs.
<FONT SIZE=6>T</FONT>he visitor's first experience with the landscape is truly dramatic, as rows of pine trees veil the color and grandeur of the canyon until you approach the rim. The brilliant hues of the park come alive especially with the rising and setting of the sun.
<FONT SIZE=6>T</FONT>he Park is named after <B>Ebenezer Bryce</B>, a mormon farmer who was the first modern-day settler in the region.
