This town is one of the most visited places on the beautiful Hungarian Balaton.
Altough the town is pretty small with only 24,000 citizens it has very long history of thousends of years. Keszthely is a very european city with beautiful Austro-Hungarian architecture and with a beuatiful renovated city Center. There are many shops and hotels in this small town. Dont be suprisefd if you see many young lovers on the streets of the city Center because its a very romantic place.
My only regret is that i have only been in this glorious town for a few hours and havent seen too much but the things i saw were amazing.

The Castle, built in 1754, is maybe the only famous sight of Keszthely and everyone that arrives here has no chance to miss it.... In the castles site you can also see beautiful gardens, fountains and old walkways. There is a beautiful pedastria street which leads you from the city Center the the Castle.
