The City

Panoramic view of Netanya
Netanya located at the center of Israel, 30 km north of Tel aviv. Its a pretty big city with poulation of more then 140,000 inhabits that always continue to grow. This is the place where i live from 2002 and pretty fast i found out a lot of things about it. The town is cool, a lot of places where you can hang out, there is a great beach and a lot of parks. Most of the people here loike tourists very much, the only disadvantage is that the city is full of old people, pensioners, but you will get used to it. Today there are many French immigrates that came to Israel \not long ago, i like them.... French is a beautiful language!!

Some good things...

Netanya is known all over Israel as a great tourist resort, at least in the past. In the beginning of the nineties the city was the diamond of nthe Israeli tourism, with a lot of western tourists coming to see its beautiful coast.
Netanya used to be once a center of diamond industry and you can hear about it even today.
Netanyas football team was the best vin Israel in the seventies and the eighties and soime of the countries best players came from here, today there are many streets called after them.

The Beach

Netanyas most importent attraction is the sea. The Mediterranean Sea its connected to Netanyas western side. There are many beaches were people go to swimm and hang out at summer, there are also some beautifull promenades where you can walk.
The beach is charming, there are a lot of hotels and restaurants but it looks the best at a natural way...
