Orange County Convention Center - Orlando

I've been to Orlando more than a dozen times during the last 10 years. Sometimes with my family on vacation but mostly for business purposes. It seems that Orlando is a preferred location for Conventions and Company meetings. So I had the opportunity to stay at many different hotels and visit all the theme parks many times. With my family I've been to all Marriott vacation clubs which my kids really enjoy... so I may be visiting Mickey once again soon.

I guess that my comments about Orlando will be mostly about lodging and a few tips to make the most advantage when visiting the theme parks.

As far as the theme parks concerns, I guess I'm not taking the time to build pages about each one but only address a question I hear a lot from my friends: "How many days should I spend in Orlando with my family to visit all the main attractions?". As Orlando grows and grows, you need more time every year to visit all of them but I would recommend at least 7 days for a family trip as follows:

Magic Kingdom (1)
Universal Studios & Islands of Adventure (2 days)
Sea World (1)
Animal Kingdom (1)
MGM Studios (1)
Epcot (1)

Shopping and other attractions would require additional days.
