"Darjeeling and the Himalaya Range" State of West Bengal by RafaGoes

Darjeeling is such a nice place to rest and see a different side of India. The Budhism is very strong due the influence of Tibet and the old kingdom of Sikkim.
When i went to Darjeeling i was wondering to see mountains, and i could apreciate a little bit of the amazing Himalaya range, there's a good trekking opportunities and tthe city for itself is very chill out, well the Darjeeling i have in my mind is a border from Earth and Heaven, the city is located over 2000 meters high, and to get closer to the sky, just pick one trek and you'll find the peacefull mountain villages around with charming house, grateful and simple life.
One of the most fammous trek is the Sandakphu - Phalut trek, wich is superb and quite ok to do. you'll pass trough many small villages and if you wanna, you can visit a nepalese village on the way too. All the way is possible to find a chai shop or a trekkers hut, no guide is needed, just a map and some basic outdoor gear, if you go till Darjeeling, don't miss the trek !
