"OLD DELHI" Union Territory of Delhi by RafaGoes

Most people have in their mind "Dammm Delhi must be horrible ... bla bla bla" well, i avoided my stay in Delhi during my India trip, but i had to go there cos my flight was already booked and it was hard to find another flight at the time... anyways...
Delhi has 2 very different areas, New Delhi and Old Delhi, of course the old city is the athmospheric one, this is the place where you'll find most of the nice things to do while in Delhi, like Red Fort and so on... lot of people said to me it was pretty good to shop in Delhi, wich i disagree...but it depends how long you're staying in India and where are you going...but yes, i agree you can find tons of miscelanious..but Varanasi is a better pick for fabric and silk, for example, with much easier bargain and better quality as well.
I think Delhi was a good test, i meant, it's such a terapy to be in the crazy old city and at the same time, feel good and in peace with yourself...well, its hard to say about it, but my tip is : "Go to Delhi, do not expect from the city and let it show for itself" your opinion might be different from mine or any other traveler, so check it for yourself. !! remember, while in India, SHANTI SHANTI

• Pros:Old Delhi is the place to visit, good laughs for sure !
• Cons:New Delhi has no charm, it's tottaly western city
• In a nutshell:You'll see everything anytime anywhere, and you'll laugh, be sure !
