Queen's Quay Terminal is one of the bigger shopping malls in Downtown Toronto. It's located just outside teh city center on the waterfront. You will find all kinds of shops inside like toy shops, gift shops, clothing shops and art shops. And you may also enjoy a drink in one of the cafes. Step outside for a magnificent view over the harbour and the island.

Sam the Record Man is THE place to go shopping for music in Toronto. It's a huge building containing some of the best music in the world. Not only will you find CD's here, you can also buy DVD's, Video's and more. It's also nice to watch an in-store performance, which they regularly do. And the staff is very helpful.
What To Pay: Prices at Sam's are the same as you would pay anywhere.

Eaton Centre is one of the biggest (if not THE biggest) shopping malls in Toronto. Inside you will find numerous smaller shops that sell everything from clothes to souvenirs and from shoes to candy. There are five levels to chose from - both the most of it is taken up by the huge departement store Sears. A great store where you can find virtualy everything. Inside you can also admire a special art exhibition by Michael Snow. He made a project using 60 life size Canade Geese. Although they were meant to be taken down long tie ago - people decided they wanted to keep it.

ALoha | Paul2001 Fri Jun 11, 2004 21:56 UTC You have done an outstanding job with this page. Nice to see that you make mention of some truely off the beaten path attractions like St. Andrew's Church. Other tourists overlook these. | MissAntarctica2002 Thu May 27, 2004 20:47 UTC Glad to see you had fun. You couldn't ask for a better tour guide than Jane. If you come back to Toronto, get in touch, and perhaps we can meet up. So far Jane's the only VTer I've met in person. |
