"TW Festival" a Werchter Travel Page by Imaniac

Werchter is the host of the biggest music festival in Belgium. It's at the end of June every year. It has 2 stages, 1 open air and 1 in a tent. Normally it takes 3 days, but this year there were 4 days. It is one of the best festivals I visited and certainly always has a great line up. A must for all music lovers.

I went to this festival for the first time in 2000, to see my favorite band Texas. It was an amazing day. Other artists that they included Bush, Moby, Suzanne Vega, Kelis, Bomfunk Mc's and HIM. The Eurythmics were supposed to play too, but they cancelled unfortunately.

This year I had the opportunity of visiting the festival with a press pass. I landed myself this job for virtualfestivals.com. I was allowed to go backstage and walk in front of the stages to take pictures. It was a great experience and a great festival. The line-up included Metallica, The Pixies, The Cure, Lenny Kravitz, Pink, Cypress Hill, Muse, Moloko, Placebo, Korn, Nelly Furtado and the Sugababes.
