When I was 12, we went on a holiday to Bretagne for a couple of weeks. And since we're not the kind of people that lie on the beach all day we decided to make a trip to Le Mont Saint Michel.
And it was worth the trip. It was such a beautiful sight to see. There is this enormous castle in a city that you see rising from the sea. It is unlike anything I ever seen.
Off course you don't just go there to see it and then drive off. So we started climbing the streets to the top. There are a lot of little shops and restaurants along the way, that make it interesting.
But boy, it sure was hot. When we finally got to the top, it felt like I was burned to a crisp. And then we had to go all the way down again! |
