Romeo, oh Romeo, wherefor art thou Romeo?

by Imaniac - last update: Apr 8, 2003

Well, I never would have guessed.

I don' t think I ever even heard of Verona before I went there. But it turned out to be one of the highlights of my trip to Italy.

We went on a city walk and saw some amazing sites. First of all there' s the amfi theatre. It' s so much nicer than the one in Rome. And then off course there is the balcony from Romeo & Juliet. It' s not much to look at. But there' s a great atmosphere. I also really liked the shopping in Verona. And I had some great canoli on the market.

totally agree with what you wrote! the amfi theater in Verona (Arena di Verona) is MUCH nicer than the big Colosseum in Rome! :) *cheers*

You resisted the temptation of taking a photo of Juliet's statue? ;-)
