I think that this could be the best place to buy your species to carry them home, but, look arround and try to buy them after having looked in several stands as not all of the items are from the last year harvest. Anyway the people arround are helpfull and you can trust them.
just walk arround the place is save and the people pacefull do not care taking a maxitaxi, you can go anywhere and they are cheap, and if the place you go is a little bit out of the way just pay one more buck and ask the driver to leave you there.
You can walk to the top of the small hill where the St george`s fort is. a nice view of the city will be your reward.

This is a very peacefull hotel with self caterring rooms, Yes I would recommend this place, its one of the cheapest ones... more travel advice
