It's strange to look at Vancouver through tourists' eyes because I've grown up here and lived here my whole life. Actually, I didn't think there was anything special about Vancouver until I went travelling for a year, and upon my return concluded that Vancouver is the best place on earth. I love everything about this city.

During the Summer and Winter there is a plethera of things to do for all kinds of people with diverse interests. Art exhibits, Local music acts, clubs, shopping (at thrift or designer stores), hiking, swimming (in lakes or the ocean), museums, snowboarding, excellent places to eat, beautiful walks, rock climbing and caving, and suntanning (if it's not raining) are just some of the things you can find to do around Vancouver.
