First of all, I have family that lives in Vienna so I have been there about 8 times. In 1998-1999 I lived there for a year and absolutely fell in love with the city. I volunteered as a teacher's assistant at one of the English speaking schools, I took piano lessons, and I took a German course from the University of Vienna. I loved every minute of it. Vienna also provides as a place that is on the way to alot of other great Eastern European cities (Budapest, Prague...). |

There is a little error in your ice cream tip. Tichy is not on Mariahilfer Strasse, it's at Reumannplatz. The most famous ice cream at Mariahilfer Strasse is "Paolo Bortolotti". | dsantosh Fri Apr 4, 2003 08:50 UTC
