The roaring waves of the West Coast

From the Point
There are many beautiful places on this island, but the coastal views are rugged and wild. This photograph is taken from the Point on the grounds of the Point no Point Resort. Many beaches on Vancouver Island have been maintained as provincial parks, and kept in a pristine way.

For further locations on Vancouver Island see Tofino and Port McNeill
17 mile pub near Sooke

You'll find a few pubs on the main roads

Pubs often have an old world ambience here on the island and offer the standard pub fare of burgers, sandwiches, hot meals to go along with that pint of favourite ale or other beverage.

This is called 17 Mile Pub and you'll find it on the road from Victoria to Sooke.
