Old and New Come Together

Marlow Bridge
This is a very old town with all the beauty of cared for heritage homes, a bridge and a river. When I lived here forty years ago it was pretty then but I never appreciated it. Now when I visit I love to walk around the perimeters, to visit the lock, to cross the bridge, early in the morning. Everything I could need - shopping, coffee shops, pubs, the timeless peace of the river, and a cultural presence is all within walking distance.
Marlow Bridge, All Saints Church and the Weir

one of the most photographed and painted scenes

The river has something to tell you
it has travelled all your life
in the cold winter and hot summer
of your nights where dreams
ripple through the world
as though water has always
been here.

I know Marlow, but never discovered 7 corner alley! Seems a shame to call a quaint old restaurant Burgers! Too may McD connotations... Nice page
