This is a town with Huguenot influences and culture. Someone there said you can pick almost any restaurant there and not be disappointed. The architecture is a mix of Dutch and French. The wineries have onsite tasting facilities. The wine is very reasonably priced and good.
The town itself has many gift stores and galleries. This is a community that cherishes culture. Good food, wine, architecture and gardens.
