Amsterdam, the city of party and culture. It was my transit port as I went up north to Helsinki, Finland and also Sweden. I really had a jaw-dropping experience in Amsterdam and will tell you as I go along.

I just love the fact how people stay on the boats in the canals. It must be so wonderful. I was told the reason was because they did not have enough of space in the city, so people made the boats their homes.

\\when did drugs become legal in Holland. They small amounts are deciminalised but still illegal. That is why coffeshops whilst licensed can only have a permitted amount of stock. Dolphins was closed for months last year for having too much.

yes, those canalside houseboats are amazing, some looked a lot cooler than most regular houses! (but pssssst! before tulips are tulips they are bulbs, not seeds...;-}...) and for London, the Tussaud's stop for me was '96, eons ago too...
