Nightlife Spot: 12 SI
4 Outlets in one area, it's a one-stop for everyone. Ground Floor: ☼Bar Fly - A 'Coyote Ugly' concept with tons of drinkers and girls getting up on the bar nd dancing. [For the single, Cover: None] ☼Atmosphere - A Rave-Clubber concept. Playing trance/progessive/house. [For the party animal. Cover US$8-10] ☼'Can't Remember Name' - A salsa place. First Floor: ☼Bliss - A real 'Who's Who' kind of place. The music reminds me of 'A Night At The Playboy Mansion'. Lots of advertising people too, oh, and also some gay people. Nice, but pretentious. Lot's of 'air-kissing' and looking good there. This place is also connected to Atmosphere.[For the curious. Cover : US$8-10] Oh, there are a ton of taxi's around, so getting back to your hotel won't be a problem.

Situated along the busiest part of the nightlife traingle in KL, these are 2 places where one can actually have a drink and check out the local scene. The Talk Bistro serves Japanese-Fusion style food and general drinks. At Bravo, which is on the 1st floor, one can have a game of pool, drinks and music. Popular with the tourist and younger crowd, this place was once the in-place in town. ☼

Nightlife Spot: Nouvo
One of KL's interesting Clubs, Nouvo. Opened roughly about 2 years ago, it's located at the most prime spot in KL's night life scene. Many International DJ's come over to perform but check with the club management or newspapers on who's next in lineup. Happy hours(Cheap Drinking Time) starts from early afternoons till evenings. Place is usually packed up by locals and foreigners. Great place to people watch if you ask me, oh, there's a cover charge to get into the club which is on the 1st floor. Ground floor is a Bar. Best time's to go there : After 8pm ☺

Nightlife Spot: Hemmingways
Hemmingways, one of the latest Cuban bars to open in the city of KL. Here you can find a blend of mix-culture patronage mostly aged from late 20s till 40s.
The place is well decorated, it makes you feel like you wouldn't have to visit Melaka's Jonker Street. It's practicially filled up with antiques to the ceiling. Wood interior gives the place a warm and cosy touch and the music played there is hard core Cuban-Salsa. There's one huge portrait there that I really like, it's our former Prime Minister posing with the great Fidel Castro.
They serve light Tapas and generally all types of drinks. Prices are pretty average considering it's location. It is built in one of the older pre-war styled shop houses, so character is there. It's 2 floors, on the ground you will get the bar, only 1 booth seat and a little dance floor to show your best salsa moves. On one side of the walls, you will find huge prints of Cuban lifestyles and on the other is the lovely bar. Going up to the 1st floor, you will find a tastefully decorated lounge styled area which caters to bigger groups who hate to stand and socialize.
They also have a unique wine room where empty wine bottles are dumped into a old styled bath tub. Selection of wines are quite impressive. A cigar room also managed to find a space there, and it too is enclosed like the wine room.
Hemmingways was officially opened by our very own Minister for Culture, Arts and Tourism, Datuk Kadir bin Haji Sheikh Fadzir. Occasionally, you might be able to catch him doing his rounds there.☺

Nightlife Spot: Titus Blues Avenue
Located in the Chinatown district and next to the Old China Cafe, this is 'the' last standing Blues outlet in the city. Different nights cater to different blues bands. So if you're a fan of Blues music and you're in KL, you might just want to go take a look. Some of the best blues artist in the city play here. Former members of the one time famous 'Blues Gang' still play there too. They also serve good old local food and beer is sold by the Pitcher, Mug or bottles.

Nightlife Spot: Little Havana
Little Havana, a nice laid back Cuban Bar in the Changkat Bukit Bintang area where one can go there for some drinks and tapas, have a decent conversation and listen to some live Cuban music from a moving band(on certain days). It's constructed on one of the old KL pre-war shoplots, so character and ambiance is plenty. Seating is indoor and outdoor with a retractable roof in case of KL's unpridictable whether. Prices are resonable good as a mug of beer would set you back RM11.00. They have a great cocktail and wine list as well. Tired of those noises places, this may suit your evening.

Nightlife Spot: Zino & Kingfisher
Located along changkat Bukit Bintang in KL's Goldejn Traingle area, these two bars are just some of the bars that fill the road here.
Nice place to go and have a drink and chat with some snacks but these places close as early as 1am, even on weekends. Strictly Bar concept.
