Hi there, before you go on, I would like all my friends here on VT to know that I have been out of action here on VT for the last year. This was due to a massive change in my life. Work and so on. I managed to pop in off and on whenever I could.
Latest UPDATE: 23rd April - Yes, I log in like 3-4 months once and get tons of emails and messages. I know... sigh... well, work has been so busy, I just do not have the time to pass on VT.
All my old VT buddies out there, hope all is good and take care in your travels! I should log back in a few months time.
Update: 28th Aug 2006 - Hi there, this is to let you know that I'm still around :) Just that time is not on my hands. Honestly, I'm just too busy running my online trading business. I do drop by once in a way to check stuff, but not much to update.
If I were to update my pics, I would assume it will take around 2 months! LOL. Yeah, I've been also travelling around Malaysia to Sabah, Sarawak, Langkawi over and over as I was working on contract with TDC from Feb 06 till July 06. Since then, I have been free and started to focus on my own business. :)
Soooooo, anyway - Welcome to the new me and my revamped VT page. Here I will share with you my experiences in my travels and also life whenever possible. As for the last year, I have been travelling witihn my own country and not overseas. Strangely, I found that my country Malaysia does in fact have so much interesting places filled with color, culture, nature and friendly people. I guess until you go there by yourself, then only one would appreciate the values of what these places have to offer.
If you have any questions regarding travels within my country, please contact me and I will try my very best to help you out. |
| | The Great Angkor Wat The both of us at Angkor Wat. US$40.00 and it was worth it.... at least once in a lifetime.
Seriously, if you have NOT been there, make it a point to visit this place. |
| | Bayon The US$40.00 (3 day pass) covers a whole load of temples in the angkor area.
Bayon was one of the more interesting ones. Here's where the 4-Faced buddha originated. |
| | An amazing feeling @ Angkor One of the things to do when you are in Siem Reap. Wake up at 5am, make your way to Angkor and watch the beautiful unrise.
Be prepared to battle for a spot with tons of tourist. This one was taken at the far end of the lake near the tourist stalls. Well worth the wake. |
| A tree growing within the walls. |
| | Totally amazing.... Ta Prohn Temple. A truly unique place to visit while in Angkor. This place is well known for its trees growing in/out/over the temple. |
| | Restaurants offer these kind of unique walls One of the restaurants in Bar Street (Pub Street). Gotta love the wall deco.... the food? Amazing! The Beer? 0.75c! |
| A church floating on water. |
| | Floating Church! This one takes the cake. We took a day trip out to the floating village and on the way out by boat, we saw all kings of floating places. From homes to schools to even this Church! |
