"Cambridge, Town of Trees" Cambridge by shelnlin

Cambridge Travel Guide: 15 reviews and 51 photos

Cambridge is great little town and has an air of Englishness and is wonderful especially if you enjoy Antiques and Collectibles. While in Cambridge be sure to check out some of these shops, they are all packed with wonderful things from the past and every now again there is always something happening here whether it be a Lions Club Street Market, An Antique Fair or even a parade for the local Champions who came home from Athens with their medals recently. Cambridge is not huge by any means but it makes up for it with it's lovely charm and wonderful little shops.

Pros and Cons
  • Pros:If you like Anitques, Collectibles, and Crafts come to Cambridge... there is always some Market or fair on.
  • Cons:Could do with a few more restaurants but it is only a small town after all.
  • In a nutshell:Great little place and always humming...

Looks like a great little town, especially the Pink Church! I'll probably be here in a week or two......

A little heavily weighted toward shopping, but that's okay. . .you're a woman. I'd like to see more of those Anglican churches though. . .

Glad to know the sun smiled at your sister's wedding day. Would love to see the pics. Warmest smiles from sunny Philippines :-))))

I didn't even know there was a "Cambridge" in NZ. I did visit the ("original") UK Cambridge in 1999. I only have one week left in NZ, so it'll have to wait until I return one day...hopefully soon. Take care and all the best.
