The ship's dining room: A lot of food!

We were very well fed on board Explorer.

Breakfast and lunch were served buffet style. Dinner was a 4-course meal affair, sometimes even 5-course during special evenings like the "Captains Welcome Dinner" and the "Captain's Farewell Dinner".

Favorite Dish: I think my favourite meal was breakfast. Pretty much any breakfast food you can imagine was there, to satisfy the various tastes of our international crowd: from muesli & yogurt to eggs & sausage!

    BBQ on deck
  • Tip Rating:
  • Satisfaction:

  • One evening the crew organized a BBQ on deck, with music and all!

The weather wasn't very good though (snowflakes on your steak anyone?), so most people ended up eating inside.

    Lots of fun though.

Reread your adventure. Some day we'll go as well. Whales are hard to photograph well. Have many photos of swirling water to prove it. Birthday greetings from Alaska!
