Suzdal is the most popular tourist place in Russian countryside. And it is really worth to see.
On relatively small territory you will found a lot of sightseing places. There is tens of churches, a monastery, museums and plenty number of good restaurants. |
Suzdal was ecclesiastical capital of the Vladimirsko-Suzdalskoye principality and later of the united Russia. There are 12 monasteries and convents in and around Suzdal'! Some of them are still operating, some are used as a museums. |

interesting town. I'd like to visit it some day. though USD 60 per night in the hotel sounds cool (like in European hotels in average) |
