Region contains some industrial cities like Cherepovets (origin of Severstal - one of the world leading still company), but capital is relatively small and quite. |

It is very beatiful and great for a souvinir, but really very expensive. Tissue like one on the picture can start from $50 up to $1000 depending on size. And a lace dress can be $3000 - $4000! That is because lacing is very time-taking process: one thing can took several month of work. |

I have very good memories of Vologda. Stayed in the same hotel and also did the river cruise :)) Shame I didnīt know about the CCCP nostalgia restaurant. |
