"The Seychelles - Paradise on earth" a Seychelles Travel Page by giln

Our English vocabulary is not rich enough to describe the amazing two weeks my beautiful wife and myself spent on our honeymoon (Sep. 2002) in the Seychelles.
When we arrived a storm welcomed us, but the rest of the days were sunny and peaceful and the nights calm and romantic.

Coming from the "calm and peacfull" region of the world we live in,
this was an amazing change...
You can lay your head down on the beach and forget about the world.
90% of the tourist we've met couples, so you can imagine the general atmosphere.

Yes,
You can spend all your time in the Seychelles on the white sand of the amazing beaches.
In fact, my wife would be more than happy if we could spend the rest of our lives like that...
Yet, there's much more to see, mountains (though not serious ones) to climb, woods to explore, even the friendly capital city of Victoria on Mahe, and of course rich underwater world to dive to. (Even armature snorklers like us caught a glimpse of a Manta Ray).
Oh,
and not to forget - the friendliest nation we've ever visited.
