"Go Now, Pack your Bags, Stop Reading This..." Peru by cheskey

Seriously though, for anyone interested in travel and culture, strongly consider a trip to Peru. I went with a group of 9 and we hiked the Inka Trail to Macchu Picchu, hung out in Cusco for around a week, and stayed in Lima for several days upon our return.

Lima is great for nightlife and just to experience another big city not in the US. People there are hard working and very friendly. One of my friends and I were even invited to play futbolita with some friends that we made. It is too bad I am terrible at futbol (grin).

Cusco is probably the most beautiful city that I have ever personally seen with my own eyes. There is so much history and culture and beauty there that at times it is almost overwhelming.

Machu Picchu defies description. The only thing that I can say is that pictures do not do it justice. An amazing place where you meet adventurous, curious, and intelligent people from around the world. Truly magical.

Put this country on your travel list immediately. I plan on heading back to see Iquitos, Puno, Nasca, etc. soon.
