We arrived in Chieti on the wet evening of the 9th of April, 2004. We had a nice time watching the Good Friday procession, but due to the rain I could not make proper photos, hence the "borrowed" material. |
Positioned on a hill above the valley of the river Pescara, Chieti is a pleasant old town (very old in fact, as it has been inhabited since pre-Roman times) and its cathedral is worth seeing. |

Taffi, its too bad the weather didn't cooperate with you. That area of Italy is very beautiful and I would have loved to see more pics of the mountains.....Maybe next time you go in the Summer when there is not so much rain. |
