North Karelia is a part of Eastern Finland. Nature there is very unique..there you really can find a peace and traditional finnish landscape. My homevillage is Juuka, it is by lake Pielinen. Near Juuka is Koli, great place to travel in summer, but in winter specially. There is a busy winter sport centre called Ukko-Koli.
