"Heredia is more than coffee fields" Heredia by crjen

Since there are so many universities in Heredia, there also seem to be quite a few bars.
2 blocks west of the Nacional University, you will find Rancho de Fofo with two levels and great food. Across the street is another great bar with balcony open to the street. Down the block is Boulevard with beer on tap at the tables and a pool table upstairs.
A mile away In San Pablo is Cocktails, with a funky interior and a great dance floor, pool, darts and tons of parking. (which btw is sadly lacking in the downtown area)

• Pros:Beautiful views with much cleaner air
• Cons:Traffic from San Jose during rush hour
• In a nutshell:Close enough to San Jose and Far enough away.
