"Visiting Livingston, Montana" Livingston by Yankeejim

Livingston is a wonderful place to visit. If the job market was more available, it would be a great place to live as well. Livingston is the Gateway to Yellowstone country. You can access the North and West entrances to the Yellowstone National Park with a short drive from Livingston (60 to 90 miles) This may seem a lot of driving; however the scenery you pass through makes the trip not long enough. The people of Livingston is the main reason I love the city. The locals treat you as family and are always there to help. I have even been given true fishing tips. Which every avid fishermen knows that true fishing tips are not given away lightly. Livingston is home to a Northern Pacific Railway depot. Recently, the Montana Railway has reactivated the passenger rails, and you can take a 1, 3, or even 7 day rail tour through the Big Sky Country. You can start, end or even catch the tour in the middle of the trip right from Livingston. I could go on forever about Livingston; however, I won't. All I can say to any outdoor enthusiast, you must go, see and do it in Livingston, Montana.

Pros and Cons
