Phuket Off the Beaten Path Tips by WSH80

I'm not sure how many of you realize that you can actually try bungee jumping in Phuket. I don't know about this until when I did some researches on the internet before heading to Phuket for the first time. I didn't try it this time, but maybe I will give it a shot on my next visit. :-)

There're 2 bungee jumping locations in Phuket: (1) Jungle Bungee Jump and (2) World Bungee Jump.

(1) Jungle Bungee Jump (Formerly known as Tarzan Jungle Bungee Jump)

Opened in 1992, this is a 50m (165 ft.) jump over a lagoon surrounded by lush jungle. It boasts a 100% safety record, and provides full insurance cover. It is located in Kathu, halfway between Patong and Phuket City.

Open daily from 09:00 to 18:00.

(2) World Bungee Jump

Claims to be Southern Thailand's highest bungee jump at 60 metres (197 ft.). Located just off Sainamyen Road, this bungee jump is only a few minutes from Patong Beach.

Open daily from 07:00 to 19:00.
